Modest and Compact Solution

Easy expandable system with modular structure offers flexibility for meeting future capacity or tighter specification requirements.

High Removal of Dissolved Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide

MDG has been widely used to precisely control dissolved gases in many applications.

Environmentally Sustainable

MDG provides a safe filtration technology without the use of harmful chemicals, creating neutral environment footprint.

Applications

Power Generation

Degasified water minimizes long-term damage to pipes, heat exchangers, boilers and other equipment for power generation by preventing corrosion and pitting caused by oxidation and carbonic acid.

Basic Principle
Capture.PNG

MDG contains thousands of microporous polypropylene hollow fibers that are wound around the distribution tube for decarbonation or deoxygenation. The liquid flows on the shell side of the membrane while the sweep gas is introduced to the lumen side of the membrane under vacuum.

As the partial pressure of the gas decreases, the dissolved gas is removed from the liquid phase through diffusion of membrane to gas phase.
